Itinerary


July 7th.
Arrive in Hong Kong and check into the Marco Polo King Kong Hotel.

July 10th.
Travel to Guangzhou and check into the Victory Hotel. It’s “Gotcha Day!” We hold Kaylee in our arm’s for the first time that afternoon!!

July 11th.
Travel to the Adoption Register Centre of Guangdong Province for Adoption Registration and Notarization. We also travel to Public Security Bureau to apply for Kaylee’s passport.

July 12th.
We get Kaylee’s Visa medical check – up.

July 13th.
Waiting for Kaylee’s notarized documents and passport.

July 14th.
Notarized documents collected by ISS staff.

July 15th. - 18th.
Waiting on paperwork and free Day’s to explore Guangzhou and get to know our daughter.

July 19th.
Travel to the U.S Consulate for Visa ceremony and collect Kaylee’s U.S. Visa.


July 20th.
Travel to Hong Kong by train and stay at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel.

July 21st.
Leave Hong Kong and return home.

We got TA today!

Carol (our wonderful adoption counselor and friend) called with the news that we got our official "Travel Approval" from the CCAA (China Center for Adoption Affairs) today. I can barely breathe knowing that it won't be too long until my daughter is in my arm's!! :o)

Kaylee's Room





I can't begin to tell you how much fun it has been "getting ready" for our new daughter. Her room has been decorated as a flower garden with butterflies flying above the flower's. All we need right now is our little girl to make it complete!
