I did not carry my new daughter in my womb...I carried her in my heart.

So much closer...

Today, on March 29, I finally got our dossier in the mail to Laura Stroupe. I have only one prayer right now....Please God, let everything be correct in what I sent and let it travel safely throughout the postal system...Please!!

Now we wait for our "letter of invitation" to travel to China. This can take 3-6 months...or so they say...we'll see.

March 15, 2006

OK....Here goes my hand at trying to do something I'm not very good at....MODERN TECHNOLOGY!! But I did feel it was important for Keith and I to start keeping track of our adoption, not only for ourselves..But for our family and friend's as well. We are adopting Shan Le Chun. She is from the welfare institute of Shantou City, Guangdong Province. Her birthday is February 10, 2004. Her American name will be Kaylee Ann Mills. Keith picked out that name (I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that she will have the same initials as him...hmmmm....LOL) We like to refer to her as our "Little Asian Princess." Kaylee will have 2 sisters and 1 brother when she comes home. Tiffany, Alyssa and Ray. Tiffany is married to Chris and they have a 3 year old son; his name is Blake. Alyssa is a cheerleader and is also involved in track and is quite musical too. Ray has a 6 year old daughter, Madison and twin boys, Ethan and Gavin who will be 3 years old in May. We have been told that we will travel as early as June or as late as September to get our new daughter. I try not to think about it because I will make myself crazy with anticipation!!
